At Texas Wesleyan University, only the MBA program currently offers the Professional Experience Track for students who can use CPT. Students choosing this track can attend classes in a hybrid format and can receive their CPT work authorization and begin their full-time work internship as early as 30 days before enrollment.

Admission application process
Submit application materials -> Application fee waiver possible (please contact Lighthouse) -> Receive offer -> Transfer SEVIS -> Pay tuition -> Confirm course with advisor -> Submit tuition receipt -> Receive new I-20 and begin CPT application -> Enrollment
CPT Application Process
After a student is officially enrolled in the program, they need to select the corresponding CPT course (an additional 1 credit, which does not count towards the total graduation credits). Simultaneously, the student needs to submit three documents—the CPT Application, the CPT Collaborative Agreement, and the Job Offer—to the school’s Designated School Office (DSO) via email in one go. CPT approval is only granted after the student has paid the tuition.

- Undergraduate and graduate degree certificates and transcripts (Undergraduate GPA > 2.5, Graduate GPA > 3.0)

- Proof of English proficiency: TOEFL 79 or IELTS 6.5. (Wait possible)
- Proof of funds: Upload a bank statement showing $24,077. Alternative documents include a bank statement from the loan or guarantor and a signed/dated guarantee letter. Additionally, an extra $4,500 is required for each dependent.
